North Maui
Consists of the towns of Hookipa and Paia. This is the windward side of the island and has some of the best wind surfing in the world.
Paia - Once an old sugar plantation town, then the hippies took over and now it caters to world class wind surfers. Paia is a fun and funky little town which has a large artist colony. It is also the last outpost on the road to Hana.
Hookipa - One of the best wind surfing spots in the world. It is located three miles east of Paia on the road to Hana.
