Pu'u One's location offers immediate access to Haena's stunning white-sand beach for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. It's perfect for watching whales, spinner dolphins and turtles. Warmed by the sun, cooled by tropical breezes and shady palms, and blessed with spectacular sunsets - one of the most heavenly spots on earth.

The house combines a large patio with a spacious interior. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, disposal, microwave, and washer and dryer. A breakfast bar joins the living and dining area allowing informal meals. Tastefully furnished with native koa wood, the living area features panoramic views of mountains and ocean, a large punee or Hawaiian-style sofa-bed, TV and VCR.

The spacious covered patio features built-in barbeque grill and a large picnic table, great for dining at sunset. Hammocks and patio chairs make your relaxation complete.

"We have been to Hale Malia several times, but now stay at Pu'eone. It is cozy and beautifully laid out and the sunsets from the lanai are spectacular. We watch them every night. Pu'eone is on Tunnels Beach which is one of the best snorkeling beaches in the world. Being able to walk out our door and go snorkeling is the best part of staying there. We also appreciate the quick access to the Kalalau Trail which has been rated one of the top 10 trails in the world. The nearby town of Hanalei is quaint has good restaurants, fun shopping, and a great fish market. We visit most days for lunch or fresh fish. Princeville is just 3 miles further if more amenities are needed. I have taken wind surfing lessons at Anini Beach and had a great time. We rarely leave the north end of the island. "Joyce: Just a short note to say thank you for all your professionalism in handling out reservations. I never did get to meet or talk to Holly, but did talk to her husband twice. We thought the service of "Incredible Journey" was great. The house, while nicely located, was a bit overpriced compared to others nearby on the North shore that offer a little more privacy and room.
