Among the Great Whales

My husband and I recently took a Lindblad/National Geographic Expedition Cruise to be "Among the Great Whales" in Magdalena Bay in Baja California. It was worth every penny. We were not only able to see many of the Gray Whale mothers and their new babies, but we were able to interact with them. We flew to La Paz, Mexico in Baja, California and were bused to Santa Rosa, Mexico on the Pacific side to board the ship, The Seabird. The expedition traveled around the Baja peninsula and ended up in La Paz at the airport for our return home. On alternate weeks it travels in reverse. In addition to being with the magnificent great Gray Whales, it takes you to secluded bays for kayaking and snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez. During one shore excursion, we hiked for about 15 minutes and were able to travel from the Pacific side of the Baja to the Sea of Cortez. We walked through magnificent sand dunes unusual plants and cactus. There were many unique birds to see on our travels too. It was a very unique trip and I highly recommend it.
