What’s New On Kauai

Island Helicopters recently began a new 90-minute island tour, highlighted by an exclusive landing at the base of the 400-foot Manawaiopuna Falls, made famous in the movie Jurassic Park.
National Tropical Botanical Gardens has launched a new, guided sunset tour of Allerton Estate on Saturdays, showcasing the Garden’s outdoor rooms, rippling pools, and lush landscaping.
Koloa Rum Company will soon offer authentic premium rum made from the molasses of high-quality Kaua‘i sugarcane. Kaua‘i’s first commercial rum company is scheduled to open in August, with a full tasting room and tour at Kilohana Plantation in Lihu‘e.
Hawai‘i’s only St. Regis resort property is now open. The St. Regis Princeville Resort offers 252 guest rooms, a signature restaurant with world renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and the famed St. Regis Butler Service for premiere suites.
Kukui‘ula Village Shopping Center is now open and will soon be home to more than 45 restaurants, specialty shops and offices including; Merriman’s Kaua‘i, Quiksilver, The Josselin Restaurant, Palm Palm, Bubba Burgers Hawaii, Bungalow 9, and Lappert’s Hawaii...to name a few. Now featuring live entertainment Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Kaua‘i Marriott Resort at Kalapaki Beach has completed their multimillion dollar renovation including all guest rooms, fitness center and restaurants. All rooms have been transformed to a contemporary tropical feel.
Princeville Ranch Adventures has opened “King Kong,” its newest and longest zipline at 1,200 feet. The company now offers nine ziplines, the most on Kaua‘i, with “King Kong” being the finale.
Makai Golf Club at The St. Regis Princeville Resort, is now open for play. The Robert Trent Jones Jr. renovation features Seashore Paspalum turf grass on fairways and greens. Also improvements include the reconfiguring of greens and bold reshaping of all bunkers. The practice facility has also been improved offering two new practice tees, a practice fairway bunker, seven target greens with bunkers, a teaching tee, and short game practice complex.
