Dear Jay,
Ever dream of a
round the world cruise? You’d be surprised to know
that not only are many travelers dreaming about this
once in a life time experience, they are actually
making the journey. In fact more cruisers are going
on longer excursions than ever before.
If you have ever cruised before, it is easy to
understand why so many people are taking longer
cruises. First, the value surpasses any other method
of travel. Where else can you unpack once, visit a
plethora of destinations, be wined, dined and
entertained by top notch culinary chefs and
entertainers and be transported to various locales
whilst traveling in the lap of luxury?
Round the world trips do vary in price, but again
the value far surpasses any other mode of travel.
With so many destinations, activities, and dining
options the only problem I foresee with a trip of
this length is, “What ever shall you pack!”

Mexico Undiscovered |
|
Have you ever heard of Huatulco? Do you
know of
this region and what it has to offer? I
guarantee that if you read on
you will be pleasantly surprised to learn
what this hidden gem of a
destination has to offer vacationers.
In October I went to visit friends in Huatulco,
Mexico. For years they have been saying,
“You have got to come and
experience this pristine part of Mexico
before it becomes spoiled.”

Ask Endora |

What is the status of
Mexico travel now that hurricane Wilma has
wiped out the Yucatan? Any
great deals?
First and foremost the Yucatan peninsula was not
wiped out. Yes Cancun,
Isla Mujeres and Cozumel were hit hard by
the hurricane, but, the ever
popular Maya Riviera was virtually
unscathed. To accommodate families
that cannot travel to the affected areas
many of the “adults only”
resorts are now taking children for a
limited time. Deals you can find
here and there, but let’s face it – the
nicer properties don’t need to
give anything away. I have not seen any
fabulous deals that are out of
the norm for travel to the Yucatan.
Regards,
Endora

A Wedding in Paradise |
|
Believe it or not it is
possible to get married in
Hawaii without spending a fortune. For
the rest of your lives you will
recall how the sun set on the water and how
the waves were splashing as
you were speaking your own vows while
standing barefoot on the warm
white sand. Hawaii’s ideal climate and
exotic appeal create the perfect
romantic atmosphere for a wedding to
remember and you won’t have to
travel far for your honeymoon!
If you opt to use a wedding planner you can check
out the suggestions and leads on the Hawaii
Visitors and Convention
Bureau’s web site. There you will find a
section on weddings and
honeymoons in the islands that includes a
planner, a wedding service
fact sheet and a list of related vendors
(wedding coordinators,
photographers, florists, etc who are members
of the official Hawaii
Visitors and Convention Bureau).
