Dear Reader,
Now that 2005 is but a memory, I hope many of you can look
fondly back on the past year and be pleased that you were able to
create everlasting memories with friends and family that you will
cherish forever!
Travel experts expect 2006 to be an even bigger year for
travel. So a word of advice, if you plan on traveling for the 2006
Christmas season now is the time to make your plans. By planning
your family getaway in advance you can be assured of the
destination you desire, the accommodations that would be the most
appropriate for your family and the best prices. Some of our
suppliers will allow for cancellation insurance during the
holidays, so just in case there is a change of plans you won’t
have to lose any of your hard earned money.
Whether you plan on traveling several times this year, or for
one special getaway – we at Incredible Journey look forward to
creating a dream vacation each and every time, so that you can
treasure each and every extraordinary getaway forever!
Kilauea
- The Greatest Show on Earth! |
|
It’s for sure the greatest show
on earth and there is nothing like being able to say that
you have been there yourself! Of course, many travelers
visit Hawaii’s Big Island just to witness Kilauea, and you
should save a few days on your next trip to the islands just
to see the most active and longest erupting volcano on the
planet.

Ask
Endora |
|
Dear
Endora,
Do you think it wise to get a passport now to travel to
Mexico, even if it is not needed at the present time?
Glen – California
Dear Glen,
Darling, it is so much easier to travel with a passport
so my answer is emphatically YES, by all means get your
passport now. In fact, 2005 was a banner year for passports.
Remember passports will be needed for air and sea travel to
the Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, Bermuda, the Bahamas and
Panama by January 2007.

Cruisin
together on the Panama Canal |
|
Cruising is one of
my favorite vacations, ever. It is a true escape from
reality. First cruising appeals to everyone so whether you
are traveling with friends, singles, couples, families, or
business groups everyone is guaranteed to have a good time.
Plus where else can you unpack once, and travel in the lap
of luxury to exotic ports of call?
This past May, my husband, my two sisters, my mother
and I went on a fabulous 10 day cruise of the Panama Canal
on the wonderful Island Princess. The Panama Canal is a must
see, and is noted as one of the top ten manmade wonders of
the new world. The history of the canal is not only a
technological feat, but a story of human courage. As you
pass through each lock you can only imagine the trials and
tribulations these brave men and women had to endure to
accomplish such a grueling task. All the while you are
surrounded by the gorgeous beauty of Central America and the
country of Panama.
